Join Cohelm Edutainment as an instructor and lead hands-on science and engineering sessions for children ages 3–12 in Davao and General Santos.
The role
What you'll do
Instructors run Cohelm sessions with small groups of children, using materials and lesson plans we prepare together.
Lead hands-on activities
Run the practical build and experiment work that carries each idea, and keep every child involved in it.
Encourage exploration
Guide children through discovering an idea for themselves rather than being told the answer.
Mentor and inspire
Share your own curiosity, and help children see where science and engineering show up in their lives.
Follow progress
Notice how each child is getting on and give them feedback that builds confidence.
Keep sessions safe
Run activities safely and make sure every child is treated with respect.
Work with the team
Plan with other instructors, and share what worked and what did not.
Adapt to the age group
Pitch the same idea differently for ages 3–6, 6–9, and 9–12.
Prepare lessons
Get sessions and materials ready before each class so time with the children is spent learning.
Look after the kits
Keep materials complete, accounted for, and ready for the next session.
Who we're looking for
What we look for
How you are with children matters more to us than the length of your CV.

Experience with children
Teaching, tutoring, coaching, or running activities for young learners — and genuine patience for how playful and energetic they are.

Willingness to learn
A science or engineering background helps but is not required. We train instructors on the programs and materials.

Based in our areas
Sessions run in Davao and General Santos, so you need to be able to get to classes in one of them.
